5/18-5/22  Final Project!

Lesson Material:

The final assignment for this quarter is the “Mi horario diario” project that was the

final page in the time packet I sent home a few weeks ago.  If you already did it, please

send me a picture-don’t change what you already did!

However, I changed the assignment a little to meet the 20 point requirement, and I

don’t expect it to take more time than your normal weekly assignments in my class.

Please draw 8 pictures of what your shelter in place days have been like and

what time you do things now that you aren’t coming to school.

I am including some examples from years past.

I am so sorry I missed out on this quarter with you.  I hope you have a

wonderful summer and are looking forward to new experiences at EHS!

Keep in touch!

4/27-5/3 la hora - time (cont.)

Lesson Material:

If you have not completed last week's assignments, you will need to scroll down to find vocabulary and video lessons for time.  If you are up to date, please move to next step.

  • Check your answers from last week.  Click here for answer sheets.  Pay attention to where you made your mistakes.

  • WATCH THIS VIDEO!!  It is a great short review of how telling time works with your new vocabulary.

Assignments:

  • Time Packet Please complete the last 2 worksheets in the packet (not the project--we will work on that next week).  Pay attention to the new vocabulary words for the exact hour, 15 minutes, and the half hour.  The video above goes over them, too.  On the last page, please just write the time underneath the Spanish sentence, do NOT draw the hands on the clock.  You can write the hour and minutes in numbers, ie Es la una = 1:00

I have created a Quizlet to practice time vocabulary.  You can access it here

4/20-4/26 la hora - time

Assignments:

  • Time Packet Attached to your Time Vocabulary (from above) are a few worksheets.  Please complete the first 2 worksheets in packet-instructions for the remainder of the packet will come next week.  The first page will have you try to write the time in Spanish for the 6 clocks (use your number vocabulary ahead to help).  You can add all the way around or try using "menos" -either way is fine.  You can email me your answers if you don't want to print out the packet and take a picture.  The next page, Que hora es? is more practice after a few notes.  Please read the notes at the top as review and try to translate the times on the worksheet.  You can write the times in English by simply writing the numbers, ie "Son las dos y veinte" = 2:20.
